good morning.
As forecast, snow began falling yesterday, and as of 5:30 AM, there has been around 40 cm of fresh snow since last night. We are currently preparing the slopes, but due to preparations for the lift boarding and disembarking areas, the start of the ski resort may be delayed from the scheduled time of 8 AM. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
As of 5:30 AM, the Yonago Road is currently closed, and as planned, the Akechi Pass on National Route 180, which marks the border between Okayama and Tottori prefectures, is also closed (see here for details ). However, you can still access Ibuki-no-Sato Ski Resort from the Okayama area . Snow removal is carried out regularly, so please drive carefully and with winter tires.
Finally, congratulations to Kimura Aoi on winning the gold medal!
