Ibuki no Sato Ski Resort Official Instagram 3rd Photo Contest Campaign - Terms of Use

Please review these Terms of Use before entering the "Ibuki no Sato Ski Resort Official Instagram 3rd Photo Contest Campaign" (hereinafter referred to as "the Campaign"), hosted by Ibuki Co., Ltd., the operator of Ibuki no Sato Ski Resort. By entering the Campaign, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to the contents of these Terms of Use.

【Eligibility】

Participation is subject to meeting all of the following conditions (① to ⑥):

1. Applicants must be residents of Japan and capable of receiving prizes within Japan.

2. Applicants must agree to the publication of their submitted photos/videos, comments, and user account names on various media (including this campaign site and our official website) and must agree to provide the original digital data of their submissions.

3. Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before entering.

4. Applicants must not be affiliated with anti-social forces (including, but not limited to, organized crime groups, whether as an organization or an individual).

5. Applicants must follow the designated Instagram account "ibuki.snow" and post their entry with the campaign hashtag "#いぶきの里スキー場第3回フォトコン" added to the comments.

6. Submissions must be posted between Thursday, December 19, 2024, and Friday, February 28, 2025.

【Subject of Submission】

• Photos and videos related to Ibuki no Sato Ski Resort.

• Photos taken from outside the resort are acceptable as long as they relate to Ibuki no Sato Ski Resort. However, this is limited to those taken during the winter season.

【About the Campaign】

1. This campaign is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Inc.

2. Participation requires the Instagram smartphone app and a registered user account.

【Entry Methods and Precautions】

• Follow the designated Instagram account "ibuki.snow".

• Post on Instagram with the hashtag "#いぶきの里スキー場第3回フォトコン" in the comments.

• Entry will be invalid if you unfollow the account or delete your Instagram account before the selection process is complete.

• Adding the hashtag to a post originally uploaded outside the campaign period by editing the comments will result in disqualification.

• Submitted photos/videos must be taken by the applicant, and the applicant must hold all copyrights.

• If any individuals appear in the submission, the applicant must obtain their prior consent for entry.

• Content that violates public order and morals or infringes on the privacy of others will be invalid.

• The applicant is responsible for any infringement of portrait rights. The organizer assumes no responsibility.

• Copyright of the submitted work belongs to the photographer.

• The organizer reserves the right to use the submitted works free of charge.

• The number of "Likes" is not a selection criterion.

• Selection criteria are determined by the company and will not be disclosed. We may decide not to award a grand prize if no entry meets the standards.

• Applicants must follow the organizer's management methods and shall not raise any objections.

• The organizer is not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use this campaign site.

• All costs related to the application (connection fees, communication fees, etc.) are the responsibility of the applicant.

• Please do not enter restricted areas or engage in prohibited acts while shooting, whether inside or outside the ski resort. The organizer assumes no responsibility for accidents occurring during photography.

【Instructions for Winners】

• Results will be announced on Instagram or our official website. Winners will be contacted via Instagram direct message (DM).

• Winners may be asked to provide personal information (name, address, etc.) for prize shipping. Please refer to the Privacy Policy section below.

• Winners must submit the original high-resolution image/video data (unprocessed file size).

• Prizes will be sent after the original data has been submitted.

• If no response or data is received within the specified period, the award may be canceled.

• In case of any violation of the terms, the award will be invalidated. The winner must waive their rights if the prize has not been sent or return it if it has already been received.

【Prohibited Acts】

The following acts are prohibited. If the company determines a violation has occurred, we may (1) reject the entry, (2) cancel the win, or (3) take other necessary measures.

1. Impersonation (using another person’s name or claiming to be affiliated with our company or other organizations).

2. Acts that interfere with the operation of this campaign.

3. Slander, threats, or harassment toward other applicants or related parties.

4. Acts that damage the credit or reputation of our company or its services/products.

5. Acts that place an excessive load on our servers.

6. Other acts that violate laws or public order and morals.

7. Any other acts deemed inappropriate in light of the purpose of this campaign.

8. Participation by individuals whose accounts have been suspended due to violations of service terms.

【About QUO Cards】

• QUO Cards will be sent to the address provided after winning.

• This campaign is provided by Ibuki Co., Ltd. QUO CARD Co., Ltd. does not handle inquiries regarding this campaign. Please contact Ibuki no Sato Ski Resort at the email address provided below.

• QUO CARD and its logo are registered trademarks of QUO CARD Co., Ltd.

【Rights and Usage of Submitted Content】

1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights for the submitted content belong to the applicant or photographer.

2. By posting, applicants grant the company a royalty-free license to use the content (including reproduction and creation of derivative works).

3. Applicants agree not to exercise moral rights of authorship.

4. No compensation or usage fees will be paid to applicants for the use of their content.

5. Applicants acknowledge that their rights to use the content elsewhere (e.g., in other contests) may be partially restricted.

6. The company assumes no responsibility for third-party claims of rights infringement; applicants must handle such issues at their own expense.

7. The company may use the content for promotional purposes (websites, posters, advertisements, etc.) without individual consent, regardless of whether the entry won a prize.

【Rights and Usage of Winning Content】

1. Winning photos/videos may not be entered into other external photo contests.

2. Winners grant the company an exclusive license for use. Winners may not permit third parties to reproduce or distribute the work in print form.

3. Winners agree that the company may resize, color-adjust, or crop the work as needed.

4. Winning works may be used in various promotional media and may be licensed to third parties approved by the company without prior notice or payment.

【Handling of Personal Information】

1. We will manage personal information securely in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

2. Collected information include name, address, phone number, and email address.

3. Purpose of use: Shipping prizes, contacting winners, requesting photo usage, and responding to inquiries.

4. Personal information will not be provided to third parties except as required by law.

5. Requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal information will be handled promptly.

6. Applicants are responsible for their personal information on external websites linked from this campaign.

7. Personal information will be disposed of after a certain period following the completion of prize shipping.

【Others】

• This campaign is intended for the enjoyment of visitors to the ski resort and is not meant to actively encourage unnecessary travel. We also accept past photos/videos to allow participation from those living far away.
